The following are some helpful resources about pancreatitis:

Pancreas.org — one of the most comprehensive sites on pancreatitis, pancreatic cancer, and other pancreatic conditions.  It includes information on relevant national conferences as well as the quarterly newsletter, PEaRL (Pancreas Education and Research News).  If you want to learn as much as you can about your condition and the current state of medicine, this is a great place to start.

National Digestive Diseases Information Clearinghouse’s section on pancreatitis — A service of the National Institutes of Health, it has a longer than usual description of pancreatitis, causes, treatments, and links.

Comprehensive Center for Chronic Pancreatitis — A medical center at the University of Arizona specializing in CP.  Includes a good overview about the condition as well as descriptions of the range of treatments available (from them, naturally).

There are several active Facebook groups on pancreatitis with a committed group of patients who offer sympathy, support and advice.  At least one of them plans to raise money for pancreatitis research.

Chronic Pancreatitis Support Network; also on Twitter — @TheCPSN

Chronic Pancreatitis Support — A closed group (requiring permission to join) with the inspiring slogan “Pancreatitis Can Kiss My Pancreass.”

Living with Pancreatitis — Also a closed group.
